I was a student nurse at Mendota Mental Health Institute in late 1959. I think Yvonne was my Head Nurse on Goodland South’s Geropsychiatric Unit. Why? Because you described her perfectly....organized, unflappable, kind, uncomplaining (even when lack of cleaning staff meant she had to mop a floor herself), gentle humor, ready smile. A wonderful, never forgotten role model. Rest In Peace, Mrs. Jackson!
