Met Bonnie when she lived in Blue Mounds. We became friends when she helped find a missing cat. Helped her when she had to moved to a Mt Horeb apartment. Gave her some rides to Doctor appointment in Cross Plains and Hair appointment in Barneveld. Loved her stories and sense of humor. She was a sensitive soul and will be greatly missed. So Sorry for your Loss. Linda Gross, Blue Mounds, WI

Bonnie and I were friends. It was always a pleasure when I encountered her at various places around Mount Horeb - the Senior Center, the grocery store or Fink's Cafe. She shared so many of her life experiences with me, and it made me wish I could have known her when she was young and lively. She always had a smile for me, even if she had problems. Bonnie was a beautiful person and I will miss her. She is now singing in the heavenly choir. My condolences to her friends and family.

I never got to meet you, but you were a trailblazer for the women’s movement. It took courage to embrace your beauty and go after what you wanted like you did. You didn’t allow people to shame you into being someone that you didn’t want to be, you were brave enough to follow your heart. It doesn’t matter what people say. Life is so short, we need to be able to live it on our own terms. I wish I would have gotten the chance to meet you and listen to your legendary showgirl stories. I hope you have found peace, and just want you to know that you are a legend, and so many women are grateful and inspired by you today. Rest easy🕊️
