We were neighbors with Bev and Larry and u couldn't ask for better friends on Tarragon Drive in Madison. They had a nicer sand box and the kids enjoyed playing in it because we had a tractor tire as a sandbox. Rest in peace Bev.

I have known Bev since the early 1970's, when she joined the Madison General Hospital ICU crew. She, Sue & myself were assigned to work the PM shift together every other weekend. This was the beginning of our 50+ year friendship. Our husband's got to know one another well too and with another couple, Hazel & Jerry, we started a card club, alternating hosting dinners and playing euchre. We had many fun times together, even taking short trips to see various theatrical performances.
Our friendship spanned and paralleled all of our lives's major events: raising our children, attending their graduations, marriages, and joyfully welcoming our grandchildren into our lives.
Retirement came and we now had more leisure short trips and switched to meeting for lunch out as we now preferred to avoid driving at night and getting to bed earlier. I'm sure some of you reading this can identify with that.
Retirement also brought along health issues for our husbands and Bev, Sue and I experienced widowhood, each a year apart from one another. We women hung on to and helped one another during these sad times.
It's hard to find the right words to express my deepest sorrow in saying goodbye to such a close friend except I know she is now at peace and will be greatly missed by Sue and I.
Farewell dear Bev and to Eric, Amy, Brian and your spouses and children, may time ease your sorrow, may memories bring you peace and through the years to come may Bev's legacy live on in each of you.

Eric, Amy & Brian- Please accept our sincere condolences on Bev's passing. Growing up, Thanksgivings at your home were always a highlight of the Holiday Season. The PIES! Both your mom and dad were the kindest, most generous people. Keeping all of you in our hearts. So very sorry.
