Mark and Marcia, and everyone in your family, I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Muriel’s passing. She always had a smile on her face, whether it was at a family gathering, or in the Sennett library when I was in middle school, or running into her at the grocery store. I was happy I was able to spend the evening with her a couple years ago when I was back in WI. Losing such a wonderful person is always difficult but she will live on in the joy of your memories of family time spent with her. Our sincerest sympathies to all of you, Dave and Gail Herrmann

I worked with Muriel at Sennett for many years. She told me she was thinking of retiring when we started using computers. She said she was too old to learn all that new stuff, but learn it she did. She would laugh when I reminded her that she had been going to quit. She said she was so glad she hadn't as she would have been so bored at home. I also remember how much she liked that yellow VW and often saw her around town in it. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am sorry I cannot attend the visitation but have to take an elderly friend to the doctor Monday morning. Barb Van Loenen Sennett Middle School 1969-2001

Our hugs and prayers to the whole family. Muriel was not only my aunt, but also my godmother and will always have a special place in my heart. I have so many wonderful memories of backyard picnics and Christmas Eve celebrations on Spaanem Ave. I have always been impressed by how she transitioned to the new role of single mom after unexpectedly losing the love of her life, Morline. How many people can say that they started a 36+ year career at age 44? During my visits with Muriel over the last few years, she loved telling stories about her kids & grandkids, as well as her beloved cats. Aunt Muriel will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mark and Ellen, we send our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dearly loved mother. We know how difficult this must be because you took such good and loving care of her over the years, and you were so very devoted to her. Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the memorial because we are in Minneapolis this weekend. We will be thinking of you and saying a prayer for Muriel, you and your family. With sympathy, Wes and Sue Zuege
