Mary and family... May you always remember the joy that Michael brought to his family and friends. His brilliant mind, his humor, his kindness .... a few of the qualities that made him unique. I heard him play the piano on different occasions, and I was awed. He will be fondly remembered forever. My deepest sympathies to all of you. Elaine Axtell Thomas

I always loved when Mike came to a meeting at Agrace HospiceCare. He would arrive about 30 minutes early and play the piano near my desk. It was breathtakingly beautiful. He was such a gifted pianist, and a kind man. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

I first met Wisco in Aruba. Paul and Mark were still playing poker when I was first introduced to Mike. We were walking around waiting for them when we past a baby grand piano. Wisco asked me "Would you like a private concert?" I had no idea what i was about to hear. Unbelievable talent! I'll never forget that night nor my good friend. RIP Wisco♡

Dear Mary, John, Ruth, Chris, Molly and more, I offer my sincerest condolences and love to all of you. Your family was key to Sam's early childhood (carefree!) upbringing, and I have many loving memories of Michael as a middle schooler. I am so very sorry that you are among those of us whose lives have been forever damaged by the effects of addiction. Your time with Michael was too short, and I am very sorry for that. Unfortunately a trip will keep me away from Michael's service, but know that I will be there in spirit. My prayers are with you all. Very sincerely, Cheri Hiller
