I met Katie when I worked for Dane County Public Health and was assigned as a School Nurse to the Oregon School District. She saw Mickelson on my name tag and asked if I knew any of the Mickelsons in the Mt. Horeb area. I told her that Bill & Beverly Mickelson were my father and mother in law. She told me we were related. I think Bill was her cousin. She was a joy to work with; friendly, efficient and very good at her job. She was definitely a 'people person' and was really good with kids. My condolences to her family and friends.

Hello Pam, Karen and David. I treasure the memories of our families from years past. It has been so long since I have seen you. Diane and I visited your parents a few years ago. We went out to dinner and Don drove us around town. It was a great visit. I am sorry we will not be able to attend on Saturday. We have a prior commitment with Diane's daughter in Oshkosh.
