I am so sorry that I can't be at the memorial service in person. June was one of the two most influential teachers in my whole life and I did not even meet her until AFTER graduate school. I learned more about myself, and working/dealing with others, and about how to live out one's values in daily life from her than from all my other "teachers" together. She was my Yoda. and I will miss her very much.
I am SO very glad that June included included me in her "swan song tour" about five years ago, and also that I got to spend a morning with her in January of 2017 when I had a conference in Madison. I helped her make a raspberry sour cream coffee cake, for which she had lost the recipe. I was able to find an almost identical recipe with my cell phone, and what me made tasted delicious. For the next Unitarian potluck I go to, I will make one in her honor.

We will always treasure the dinners, discussions and wisdom shared through the years from June and Stan on their trips to Dallas. They both contributed greatly to our professional and personal values and ethics. Their love and devotion to each other and their family were apparent for all to witness. Their joy brought joy to us. I met June when her company provided consultation and training to the Regional Center for Deaf Blind Services in Dallas. Later I assisted June on other consultation and training contracts. She was a gifted and willing mentor; I continue to use knowledge I gained today. The memories of June’s laughter, brightly shining eyes, smile and love touched our hearts. She impact many lives so positively and we thank God for bringing her into our lives. She was so proud of you boys, your wives and children. We are praying your memories of treasued moments and events will be a comfort and bring smiles as you think about your mother and grandmother. May June Rest In Peace and May the Comfort and Peace of God rest on all of you. With Love and Peace Johnny and Reva Carter Dallas, TX
