Dear Bonnie, Tom, Mike and Monson family, We are so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We will long remember Jerry's humor and wit. Jerry always had a funny story and it was always worth listening to. Jerry worked on our house along side Tom and our beautiful home is a testament to his skill and detailed work. Jerry will be missed by many. Jim and Deb Erickson

Dear Bonnie and family, Gerry and I worked together at Flad for many years. He was such a terrific person and architect. A great talent, a delightful person to be around and a sense of humor that was matchless. When someone needed mentoring, Gerry was the guy to do it, as he was patient, very good at what he did and a patient and kind teacher. One of my favorite times at Flad was watching Gerry do this Guido Sarducci (from Saturday night live many years ago) impression for the in-house Christmas party. He had that dry sense of humor and his timing was superb. (his Italian-ish accent was something to behold). All who know Gerry are deeply saddened by the loss of such a terrific man and friend. We will hold in our hearts.

Dear Aunt Bonnie and family: Steve and I were shocked and saddened by the news of Jerry's death. He was soft spoken but his wit, humor and ability to make one laugh was awesome! Although we will not be with you for his funeral please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. With heart felt sympathy and love... Steve Hietala and Betsy Adams Hietala and family

I loved the man. His spirit was buoyant. He loved fun. Years after I had last seen Jerry, he jumped up from the Miller Park tailgate lot as he recognized me walking to the ball park. He was glad to see me, and I him! but he wanted me to settle a debate he was having with his buddies. I think it was about who was on the cover of the first Sports Illustrated magazine. I settled it in his favor, without knowing. He had it right. Of course. (This must have been 3-4 years ago.) I'd say he had a lucky family with him as hubby and dad. Bless him. God's doing it. Love, Paul Francis
