Jenny and family, I am so sorry for your loss — I can tell that both Gene and Lena were very loved and will be missed dearly. May you find peace in knowing that they are together once more. My heart and thoughts are with you during this difficult time — it is never easy to lose a loved one, let alone two in such a short amount of time. Remember that you have friends and family around you who love you and are there for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything at all that I can do. Samantha

I loved working with Gene at Crescent Electric in Madison. He was always telling a joke but he also cracked the whip to get your work done. He was a GREAT friend. God rest him and his wife Mary Lou Hyatt

Kathy, Jo Ann, Gene, Bruce, Sharon,, Bryan, and family--My sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I have fond memories of spending time with all of you and your mom and dad,. It's been 50 years and I still smile when I think of some of your dad's great lines, in fact, I still use some of those lines and remember very clearly whom I got them from. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. John Burns, St. Pat's class of '73.
