I only met Jerry face to face twice, when he and his wife, Clare, visited Germany and Austria. But I am glad that I had the chance at all to get to know him. He was a very special man with a big humour and a big heart. I will never forget the fun we had together in Munich and Bregenz. Although he had to suffer very much the last years, he always was smiling and he never was complaining.
