Ardent was a wonderful sister and friend. I will miss her and her wonderful talent. I was privileged to accompany her solos many times. I will always love her.

I just remember at her daughter's wedding (Amy) to my son (Erik) the love she showed. She was so happy at the occasion. That was only at the time, the second time I met Arteth. She truly was a loving mother. When time began for singing hums I knew I was next to an opera singer. Oh how much I enjoyed her voice. Just wonderfully beautiful. I was fortunate to have spoken to her twice this year, I felt loved. I am the other grandmother of Christopher whose mother is Amy along with her husband Erik. She will be sorely missed, yet she is rejoicing in heaven. Brigitte Gfesser Amy's mother-in-law.

I was privileged to meet my cousin Ardeth Lindgren at a 2005 Lindgren family reunion. As soon as I spoke with her I could tell she loved Jesus very much. Now she living with Him!

I am the youngest child of Ardeth. I was not able to speak at her service because I was grieving deeply and in shock.
I was best friends with my mom during the last 20+ years of her life. If I had written her obituary, I would have included that she was an avid viewer of The Young and the Restless. She did the daily crossword in the newspaper and the Sunday crossword puzzle. She loved to clean. She loved buying sheets and towels. She was extremely fond of all types of animals. She used to read People Magazine. Her favorite Boston Terrier was Toby. She went to Olivet Nazarene for two years; she never graduated or held a college degree due to financial constraints and WWII. Between college and GM, she did manual work (lifting "registers" onto trucks). She was a very ordinary woman, and at the same time, she was an amazing woman.
