Hands down the best teacher I had growing up. I recently sent her a message on Facebook telling her so but got no response. I pray that she saw it and knew that at least one student appreciated the great work she did. This is a sad day.

One of the sweetest women I have been blessed to have as my friend. Lovely, joyful, a role model, and a woman of peace.
Truely, a light in the Lives of the people who knew her.

Wanted to let the family know that I remember Mrs. Frohreich as a wonderful teacher. She shared her love of travel and of learning about other countries, which ignited a spark of curiosity within me. I spent a year abroad as an AFS student and then later went on to host 10 AFS students, drastically changing my life and that of my entire family for the better. I attribute that spark of wonder to Mrs. Frohreich and will be eternally grateful to her for bringing the big world to little McFarland and helping me understand there was a whole world out there to explore. RIP Mrs. Frohreich. Julie

Many fond memories of Julia and our travel experience to Sierra Leone, West Africa. That was way back...but enjoyed our "follow up visits" over the years when we got to Madison or a connection in Door County. We were both teachers and she was such a fine one at that! She was so dedicated to social studies and all the committee stuff we did. Always so positive. When I didn't receive her annual Christmas letter, left message on home phone, but realize now that it was about the same time of Julia nearing the end of her life and I heard nothing. I just discovered this by accident today, so am sorry for the late condolence. I am greatly saddened and I offer my sympathy to her family. She is onward to another journey now, but is close in all our hearts forever. God Bless
