I was the Local #394 Steamfitter secretary back in 1994 when I first met this man. What a joy to have known his sense of humor and what a great guy he was. He had two wonderful sons , Mike and Danny that followed in his footsteps as a Steamfitter. I was pleased for known these two great boys too. Prayers for all of you at this time and have faith that you will get through this. One day at a time. Dolly and Danny, and the rest of the Family, may it give you peace knowing that Mike and your Dad are together and will be waiting for you when your time comes. I will miss Herb very much. He will continue to live on through the hearts and memories of all those who knew him. My heart goes out to all the Stanford family. It was a honor and a priveledge to work alongside Herb for many years. Everyday he taught someone something new. We laughed and broke the rules on a daily basis and I will continue to tell stories of him for the rest of my life.
