Marilyn and I worked together at the UW in Student Academic Affairs Office for several years. I remember her as always being a woman of strong faith, which I greatly admired. God rest your soul, Marilyn. I know you are in good hands! from Polly Ruff <3

Our family was neighbors to Paul, Marilyn, Robin and David back in 1967 for a few years and became good friends. Marilyn was a spiritual inspiration to everyone, so kind and loving, and she was a fun person to be around! I remember our children attending Marilyn's "Backyard Bible School" for many summers! Marilyn will be missed by her family and many, many friends and will be remembered for the truly faithful servant she was. God's peace and comfort to Marilyn's family. Marv and DeDe Waldmann

I first met Marilyn and her children, David & Robin, back in 1996 shortly after I married her late husband's brother, Daniel Baumgarten. So technically she was my sister-in-law but she seemed more like a sister. She and David and Robin wholeheartedly welcomed me into the Baumgarten family which I appreciated immensely. Through the years we have visited each other on several occasions and chatted on the phone, sharing about our grandchildren and our lives, and praying for each other. She was always so kind and cheerful - such a blessing in my life. I will miss her. Robin & David, I will continue praying for you and your families. I know you will miss her. I know she is happy to be with your Dad again. I'm sure she will tell him about the southern girl that his brother Daniel married after his wife Helen died. Your Uncle Dan was saddened to hear of your mom's passing and we would have come to her funerals except your Uncle Dan is now suffering from the same disease your mom had. Keep him in your prayers. He had great respect for your mom and for their shared love of playing the organ.
