I will always treasure the toboggan run that was set up for us to play on at their house, the hockey rink we would shovel on the frozen lake, and the ice boats we would go across the lake on. We have many wonderful and fond memories of Ellie; she was such a welcoming and fun-loving person, always ready to give you a hug or a helping-hand. I'm Elsbeth Germanson's sister I have such fond memories of your mother....going back many years when on a few occasions, I'd come to Madison and babysit Linda and Donald so Elsbeth and Tom could have a night out with your Mom and Dad. I have more recent memories of enjoying your Mom's shortbread cookies....she was an amazing baker. I spoke with her briefly at your Dad's funeral...and was reminded again what a beautiful, gracious lady she was. I was blessed to have known her. My sincere sympathy to you and your families.
