Page Ann Adler

OREGON- Page A. Adler, age 53, of Oregon passed away at Agrace HospiceCare on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with COPD, with her family by her side. She was born on May 17, 1963, in Duluth, Minn., the daughter of Robert and Bernice (Swatek) Lippert. Page was a 1981 Middleton High School graduate and earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from MATC in 1986. She owned and operated Tiny Tots Daycare for many years, touching the lives of countless children and their families. While running her daycare, she also worked part-time nights at Woodman's, where she met the love of her life, Doug. They were married on May 16, 1992, in Madison. Later in life, Page worked as a claims adjuster at WPS in Monona, retiring due to progressive lung disease. Page was one of the most creative, honest and generous people you could have met. She loved to sew, quilt, knit, make Christmas ornaments, needlepoint and create beautiful pieces of jewelry. She could fix anything that needed a stitch, and there was no craft she couldn't master. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life. She was very close to her grandchildren and enjoyed their sleepovers and playing Mariokart. Page was an excellent cook and loved to bake. Over the years, she made many very special birthday cakes, batches of Christmas cookies and the very best oatmeal for her grandson, Kevin. Page made many friends through her Facebook connections and she loved to play Mafia Wars. She was a strong advocate and friend to those afflicted with progressive lung disease through her volunteer work with Badger Breathers, and was generous with her time at the Oregon Senior Center. Page especially loved spending time at the cottage on White Sand Lake where she could watch the hummingbirds and visit with friends and family. Page is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Doug; children, Lisa (Tony) Antoniewicz, Lindsey (Matt) Green and Bryan (Kate Fix) Adler; and special grandchildren, Kevin, Brock, Sully, Luca and Millie. She is further survived by her father, Robert Lippert; special aunt, Annie Jo; siblings, Mark Diebel (Jerry), Cal (Dru) Lippert, Ken Lippert and Berta Lippert; brother-in-law, Travis (Taylor) Adler; and sister-in-law Nan (Bob) Lazarz. She will forever remain in the hearts of many friends and extended family. Page was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Buchen; stepparents, John Buchen and Juanita Lippert; brother, Clarence "Rocky" Diem; and in-laws, Knute and Millie Adler. A private celebration of Page's life will take place next summer at the family cottage on White Sand Lake.
