Our sympathy to all. Joan was a kind sole, always willing to help. She hired me at Kessenichs and took me under her wing.. She was very instrumental in getting Lou and I together (59 years) She loved to sew from everyday items to hemming bridesmade dresses (Stand up straight, she would say). She was a proud mother and grandmother and lived life to the fullest. She will live on in all of you. Blessings Mary and Lou

Joan and I had a lovely visit at her home last summer. When a Christmas gift I sent was returned, I suspected something happened to her. She drew numerous commercial kitchens for me, all precise and perfect and functional. Over the years we developed a close personal and professional friendship.
