Jim will be always remembered by his great humor and friendliness. Since I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the early 70’s he demonstrated how a life should be lived. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

I am writing to extend my deepest sympathies to all the family upon the passing of Mr. Williams. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Williams personally, I feel as though I have come to know a part of him through the kindness and warmth of his daughter, Patty.
Patty is one of my most extraordinary friends, and it speaks volumes about Mr. Williams that he raised such a loving and compassionate family. The legacy of his character and the love he instilled in those around him will undoubtedly live on through the wonderful memories you share. God bless.
With heartfelt condolences,
Suzanne Brennan

What a wonderful guy Jim was. I'm a former employee of MMSD and spent many years at La Follette High School with the Science Materials Center. I'm remembering his big smile and goodness to others. I traveled to all of the schools in the district so I am not sure which ones I encountered him at. Prayers of sympathy to all of you. What a great life he lived.
