Gail and Tormey brothers, sooooo many good memories of your dad and his exuberance for life. His campfire stories and songs 🎵 are still a part of my life whenever I 'm at a bonfire. "The other day, the other day; I saw a bear, I saw a bear....." is an earworm I will never forget (and have impressed many friends with). I love you all and am sending BIG HUGS💓💔. Bev Yelczyn

Bob & Ruth were part of my St Dennis prayer warriors when I had cancer. Their strong faith & belief in God, helped sustain me. I will treasure their support & friendship always. Rest in our Savior’s love.

Our sincere prayers, thoughts, and condolences to the Tormey Family. Bob and Ruth were long term supporters to St. Vincent de Paul. Bob was a volunteer and conference member. Their compassion, care, and commitment to helping our neighbors in need was beyond inspirational. Thank you Bob and Ruth for being community change agents. May the perpetual light shine upon you. The world was blessed by your love and care. -Eric Fleming, St. Vincent de Paul - Madison.

To the entire Tormey family, I extend my deepest sympathies in Bob's passing. I had the distinct honor of accompanying Bob on his Badger Honor Flight as his guardian. It was then that I learned how he came to be the wedding singer at my parents' wedding in 1950. Since both of my parents have passed, I was able to learn how Bob and Ruth knew my mom and dad. As we visited the Korean Memorial in Washington, a group of Korean tourists were also at the memorial. Through an interpreter, they approached our Korean veterans and thanked them for their service. It was deeply moving, especially to Bob. Prayers with all of you at this time.
