Although I knew Ceil for a relativity short period of time I have many strong and happy memories of her. She was a warm and happy person, and she welcomed me into her life with open arms. We were on the same cruise to Cuba last fall and she certainly added to my enjoyment of the trip. Ceil greeted everyday with wide-eyed excitement. She was so happy to be at sea. We bonded over souvenir shopping (for things we would never use) and eating junk food! We would start each day with an overly sweet and gooey muffin...ALWAYS a muffin. In the evening it was all about dessert...many desserts. We tried them all; just a taste of each one! We convinced ourselves it would be rude not to at least try them because the chefs had gone to so much trouble to prepare them. She lived for her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often. In fact, all of the shopping we did was for them...souvenirs of her cruise! Ceil was easy-going and lived life at her own pace. I can only hope to live my life in the same manner. She is gone too soon and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. My condolences to her many friends and family.
