Jean was a genuine sweetheart. Our daughter, Karen, married (Mike) into the Holzmann family, and Jean soon embraced Karen as yet another daughter. Jean also embraced us and welcomed us, sometimes with two dozen glazed donuts and laughter around the crowded kitchen table. So kind, so thoughtful, so sweet. That was Jean Holzmann. I was so sorry to read about Jean's passing. I worked with Jean as a student in the UW Transplant Department 1983-1986. She was such a positive, happy, interesting, lovely person. And gosh did she brag about her kids! My condolences. Chris Baumann Lillesand

I will always remember Mrs. Holtzman would always let me see Dr. Belzer almost everytime I'd poke my head into the transplant office and ask to say hello. Just a wonderful caring person. She will be missed.
