I worked with Lois in Rock Island at the University of Illinois, Division of Specialized Care for Children (DDSCC) when she was the Nursing Consultant and I was the Speech and Hearing Consultant and later Program Service Manager. She was a very special lady and worked well with the families and children in the program.
You have my deepest sympathies and my prayers are with you. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Lois was my landlady for several years in Moline. I considered her a good friend and a very special lady.
She had a beautiful home and was always concerned of my needs as a tennant. She made me feel a part of the family. I feel so fortunate to have called her friend. She is in God's welcoming arms.

Karen & Neil, Sending you my condolences for the loss of your mother. I took care of your Dad in the 90's, when he needed hospice care. I have never forgotten any of you, & think about you often.
Sincerely,

Dear Karen and Neil,
My deepest sympathy on the death of your mother Lois. I met your parents only once or twice but then had a connection with the two of you for several years. Your mother had an active and productive and contributing life in so many ways. I appreciate very much her membership in the American Parkinson's Disease Association because my mother too had Parkinson's disease.
I know you will miss her very much.
