Charlie and I spent a lot of time together over the years. I remember the times in his basement making picture frames, he loved wood working as much as landscaping or giving me a hard way to go. There wasn't much he couldn't do, except forgive himself for past mistakes. He was one of only a few I considered a best friend! Rest well old buddy!

I worked with Charlie for many years and shared his zest for life and humor. He was fun, happy, and a joy to be with.

Charles was a wonderful brother, father and husband. Want him to remembered for his kindness to humans, animals and anything horticulture. I am thankful for his presence in this world. He will dearly be missed.

Chas as he liked to be called was my first manager at the new Gary’s United Foods in McFarland. We worked hard and also had plenty of adult beverages together. Great Man and friend!!
