She was my kindergarten teacher when I started school in 1977 at JFK. She was a very good teacher.

I am so sorry for your loss Your Mom was an amazing woman. I first met her when my daughter had her as a teacher at Kennedy School. She was great with the kids. She also tutored my youngest daughter every week. She gave so selflessly for anyone she knew. You would never meet a more sincere and giving woman. I am sure you will all miss her but you will still have your memories Karen Corbett

As Principal of John F. Kennedy Elementary School, I was blessed to work with Kindergarten Teacher, Phyllis George for 9 years. Phyllis was a marvelous, dedicated. caring teacher. She was a great school staff contributor as well. I have many fond memories of our time together at J.F.K. Elementary School. Phyllis George will be missed by many.

Phyllis, was such a constant, kind, wise, and faith- filled person the 8 years I was her pastor at Lakeview Moravian! She was generous and very hospitable as my young family and I arrived in 1996. We are grateful to have known her. We offer all her family and friends, peace, support, resurrection power, and our prayers in this loss. Blessings, The Rev. Darrell Johnson
