Gloria Lou Deckert

It was a special pleasure to have shared attending Bible studies, plays, concerts, meals, our love of cats and much more over the years. Gloria loved spending time with people. She loved God and faithfully served Him. I know she is delighting in her new home and rejoicing. Sally Meiers

As a 3rd grader at Schenk Elementary School, I had Miss Deckert for my teacher. I fondly remember her. She assisted in furthering my love of learning. I, too, become a teacher. Deborah Marty Mathson

I have fond memories of Gloria from when early in our teaching careers we were apartment mates and also teaching colleagues at Schenk and Kennedy Schools. We've been longtime friends. My sympathy to her brother, Glen and family. JoAnne Farrell
