Dear Marite, Indulis and Gunars,
Your mom (and dad) were such special friends of my mom and dad. All the good times they had together, visiting, laughing, discussing their many memories of their native Latvia........I know the Lord will be with you during this time of mourning, covering you with His wings of grace and mercy. With much love, Vaira Vidzemnieks Akselis

Dear Marite , Indulis, and Gunars , My deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. I knew your Mom through Marite . She was pretty special. I remember visiting with her on Schenk Street when Marite would be in town. She was so kind and down to earth. She always had a pretty yard . Lots of flowers. I will be praying for you all at this time for strength , guidance at this time. With deepest sympathy, Jan (Hanson) McMullen

Marite, Inch, Gunars, and the rest of your family....so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. I remember when I came back from Nam, your parents allowed me to live in their basement until I moved into an apartment in Middleton with Rick Trevaskis. Also all the times when we were in high school working on cars in their garage. They always welcomed all of us into their home as if we were part of the family. They both were really special people, and may God bless her and all of you during this difficult time. FLY.......Mike Frazier
