Patti: I had the pleasure to work for your dad from 1971 until 1986. He gave me my first full-time job out of college. He was a good employer and more than that he was a nice guy that cared about his employees. Ron Bares

Duane was one the VERY best bosses ever! He was always fair, honest, ethical, modest & funny. He touched everyone he knew. I'll never forget him. My condolences to his surviving realatives and friends. My job there was my most favorite! I still love & enjoy advertising. Once you get the 'newspaper business in your blood' it stays there.
