Carson E. Young, Jr.

Besides learning about Chick’s life hobbies around radio and TV, his family & friends may not know that he was involved in the redevelopment of the corner in Madison that now houses the Sequoya Branch Library. Every time I go to the library I am reminded of Chick and his idea and ‘engineering savvy’ that made the City rethink access to that site. It was Chick, and his perseverance, that the southbound lane on Midvale has a dedicated left turn lane into that development. It makes me remember him and I hope this note will remind you too of Chick. — former District 11 Alderperson, Jean MacCubbin

I remember Mr And Mrs Young inviting the neighborhood kids to watch Disney's Wonderful World of Color on the neighborhood's first color TV. It was magical! Rest In Peace. Ann Schluter Sarg
