Kristen Marie Brock

Kristen was my first friend outside of my family. She was my first best friend, even after my family moved away. To this day I can't eat mac n cheese without lawrys. This was something she introduced to me as a kid! And every single time I ate it I thought of Kristen. Or the rose gardens we'd pinch on each other's arms at our sleep overs. And I always wished her a happy birthday, wherever she was, every March 14th. Even if it wasn't to her, her birthday was one I always, always remembered. We reconnected later as adults and when she moved back to Madison I was excited for the chance to get together in person. Unfortunately we never made that happen. I'm saddened by the news of her passing, deeply so. I will always regret not taking the time to get together in person. I hope nothing more than that may she be at peace. And I wish nothing but love, hope and peace for her daughter, her sisters, her parents, her family and the rest of her friends. You've touched many lives, Kristen. And you'll forever be in our hearts.
