Wendell Herman Stoltenberg,

I have a wonderful memory of Wendell, and it might be one that wasn't recently shared with his family. I lived across the hall from Wendell when we were Freshmen at Whitewater. He had the only reliable car in the dormitory: a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet, that was his pride and joy. Somehow, we convinced him (and he convinced his parents) to spend Easter Vacation in New Orleans. A car-load of greenhorns from Wisconsin in the Crescent City....what a great memory for me of a great guy! A lot of reminiscences came through my aging mind today, reading Wendell's obituary.
