I was there in Ealing when Carrie and Dave met, was proud to be with them when they got married, and was there at Heathrow Airport to wave them off on their new life in Madison. I will remember our adventures together around London (sometimes alcohol fuelled!) and the fun and laughs I had with Dave watching Bully, having a cheeky bet, and of course, going to the pub. I will miss him and his mad sense of humour. Dave, you're a legend and I raise a pint to you.
Carrie, I am thinking of you and send love and hugs to you and your family.

My dearest Dave
You were taken from us too soon, a light has gone out down here and now heaven has the brightest star, I will take much comfort knowing that Dennis, auntie Ella, uncle Sid, Frank, Madge and Jimmy will be there to guide you to where you need to go.
I will also take comfort that in time our Carrie will take comfort and eventually find peace with the many treasured and loving memories of the life she had with you,
On my wedding day and your birthday I will and I promise I will raise a glass to you
I love you so much
Good night and rest in peace
All my love Julia xxxxxx

Dave was a sweetheart of a man. He would bring flowers to Carrie at work, for no other reason than he loved her. Dave lit up a room, his wicked humor was always looked forward to and he was as obviously as happy to see us as we were to see him. I loved sharing messages with Dave, just laughing about face book jokes or talking about the Packers, Dave was delightful. He will never be forgotten, Carrie. I like the idea of raising a glass to the dear bloke on his birthday, Dave always loved a party! He is missed already.
My sincere sympathy to you Carrie, on your heartbreak and loss.
Rest in peace dear Dave. See you when we get there!

Dear Sweet Family and Friends of Dave and Carrie--I was fortunate to meet the Marsons in 2000 when I became their Mailcarrier on Elgar Ln. Happy was I when Dave retired from UW since it meant many many cuppas of tea and treats throughout the years. My daily 1pm afternoon break was spent peering through the window where the family computer is and having Dave show me many jokes and music videos!!! We had soooooo many good laughs together!!! He took great pride in sending off scathing e-mails to the local TV weather forecasters when they were TOTALLY wrong!!! hHahahaha!! I will miss him immensely but am so honored to have called him Friend and Neighbor. He had a heart of gold :) xoxoxoKatexoxoxox

My sincere sympathy Carrie. Though I have not seen Dave or you in many years I still remember what a great sense of humor he had and his look of love for you. Thinking of you. Lori Johnson
