Dear brother you shall be missed

I worked with Stan at the Capitol Police from 1989 until his retirement in 2006. His bizarre sense of humor was in equal measures entertaining and irritating. To this day I tell all the rookies at the Police Department Stan Otto stories (of which there are many). Most of them think Stan is a legendary mythical figure (like Paul Bunyan) and they don't believe me when I tell them, "No, he was a real guy and this all really happened . . . " -- Jeff Loud

What a great man Stan was. Stan was a great cop and an even better human being. Stan taught me many things, some police related and others related to life. Stan Otto will be greatly missed......
