Mary Joyce Lucas

Mary and I were good friends in high school. She taught me a love of horses and how to ride, and we spent many good times together with our horses and going to horse shows. I always remembered her birthday was December 29 and a couple years back I'd called to wish her happy birthday; I'd wanted to meet her for coffee but she hesitated, and now I very deeply regret that I hadn't pursued it further.
