I worked with Lee at the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs loan program. Lee always had a soft spot in his heart for veterans' widows with credit problems. Lee would always try to find a way to help a veteran or a widow. He had a kind heart, a great laugh and was a great friend. After he retired, I jokingly created the Lee Henry Memorial Loan program for widows with bad credit. Lee made us focus on what was important, helping people. My sympathy. Lee was a good man and he is missed.
