I remember Chet from those early years of racquetball in Madison. He was a fierce competitor and never liked moving in doubles, no matter how many times he got hit. LOL He was an outstanding player. RIP Chet. Bill Schultz, Jr.

Not only was Chet a great racquetball player, he was a great person. He always had a smile and always stopped to say hello. One of the most competitive and one of the nicest players I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Jim Heberling

To Chet's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at Grandpa's Frozen Custard in 1986 and spent time working with him. He was such a sweet man. He was kind of a "Grandpa" to everyone. Heaven gained an angel. Pam Keene

Good man. Had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the Howard family many years ago. Continued to see him for many years. Released pigeons at my daughters wedding. A neat Xtra on a special day.He will be missed.
