Oh Roger, although I knew him for a just a short time here in Texas, each moment with him around was happy and enthusiastic especially about his passions for jazz and model airplanes and his family. This world is a better place for his being here and I, personally, will carry not only fond memories but also a "to do" list of how to be a parent and friend. I see his children and grandchildren as the wonderful result of his "to do" list; to them I offer my sincerest condolences. Fondly, Tina Latta, Georgetown TX

This was one of Roger's favorite songs and one he enjoyed sharing with others. Hope you enjoy it too.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Roger. I remember going down in the basement at the Madison house and Uncle Roger showing me all his model airplanes he made. I remember spending many Christmases at Roger and Elsie's house. The last time I saw Roger he came to Wisconsin from Texas with his RV, pulling his car and motorbike. I had the pleasure of joining Roger, Red and Val, and my dad Don for lunch. It reminded me of how much Roger always loved food. My mom Nancy always loved to cook for Roger. There were never leftovers when Roger was there. Even at our lunch Roger wrapped up his pickle and said, "it would be ashamed to waste a good pickle" .Roger had a love for life and a love for people. I am truly blessed to have had Roger as my uncle. My thoughts and prayers are with Betsy, David and the family. OXOX Carol
