Mr. Chamberlain was a well respected man. He raised a strong family with his wife and put in many great dedicated years in work and life. He also served his country well, leaving no doubt what kind of man he was. He was a very respected role model and figure in my life as well as many others. I learned many great things from the stories he did share of his past as well as many great things about fishing. He will be missed.

I met Jim shortly after joining WPL in 1974. I really got to know him as a great friend on the fishing trips up to the Chamberlain cabin near Holcolmbe. Since then we all called him the Captain as he guided us to great fun and relaxation. I will never forget him and his wonderful friendship. Ole Karbo

I was with Boy Scout Troop 150 and remember when we went canoeing, I believe it was near Spooner WI. Mr. Chamberlain was one of the adults who went along. That would have been around 1967 or 1968. He was a very well respected and a blast to be around. RIP Mr. Chamberlain! Dave Kratochwill, Middleton ,WI
