I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Edwin. I have many fond memories of times on the Rodenschmit farm as a child. I felt fortunate to be able to spend time with hi m and Helen several years ago. He still had a twinkle in his eyes and a story to tell. Jean Schmelzer Schukei

Jan and Bill - I have memories of coming to the farm house with my Mom Donna to get eggs - you always said we could go into the basement down the narrow stairs to get the eggs - but I always thought it was too "spooky". Dearest "Mr. Ed" and all of the family members, so sorry for your loss and wanted to let you know that helping with "Mr. Ed's" cares at Girlie's Manor was such a treat. Always seeing the bright twinkle in his eyes and the many memories he would share made it even more "special". Please take care and know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. I still remember all of the 4th of July picnics on the farm....the hayride all around the farm, the tire swing, the 4 seater garden swing/glider and all of the good food, among many other memories.
