Hazel Olson

For ten yours, Hazel served on the Health Committee while I served as Parish Nurse @ Oakwood. Her nursing skills were valued in every aspect of decision making for others and herself. She was faith filled and positive in mind and spirit, with the gift of hospitality. Two of her favorite foods were Appelbee's chicken and taramusu MY sympathy to family, for Hazel will be surely missed. I am certain she is celebrating. Mary Anne Bohne

Hazel was a wonderful woman who had a strong and abiding faith in God. As Chaplain at Oakwood I was privileged to get to know Hazel first as a volunteer for Pastoral Care and then later as a friend. Such a strong and wonderful woman!!

My deepest sympathy for Hazel's family. She instilled in me the love of God for which I will always be grateful. She & John brought me to church and Maxine and I were confirmed together at Central Lutheran Church. She showed me what caring was all about.
