Rilla Marie Hinkes

Chris My deepest sympathies. What a shock to see Rilla's obit in the paper this morning. Rilla was a source of sanity for me and a go to person when I needed someone to talk about the seemingly endless BS that plagued the Survey. Rilla was a true friend and trusted coworker. I missed talking with her when I last visited the Survey, then found out she had to "retire" early. My thoughts are with you and wish you well.

So sorry we never got together since I moved to Texas....great high school friend and tons of fun. Sincere condolences to all her family.

Rilla was my first and dearest childhood friend. We were inseparable during many summer vacations going from early grade school to well into our teens. I loved her like a sister and I'm so sorry we lost touch. My heart breaks for Chris and her family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rilla and I took a scuba instructor course together in Baraboo in the 1980’s. I remember her as kind individual with a good heart. I hope her legacy lives on with her loved ones.
