Dear Kathy and Duane, our hearts are heavy to hear the news about Cole. We are so saddened and shocked. We cannot imagine the pain and loss you are feeling and wish there were something we could say or do that would help ease your pain. Your are in our hearts and thoughts.

I was Cole’s 5th grade teacher. I just retired and was going through my things when I came across a story he wrote. It won in the top 10 of the Yahara contest. He was so talented and creative! Such a loss to our world. I greatly enjoyed teaching him. My heart breaks reading this.
