I have fond memories of Ilene as a fellow percussionist at Lawrence University and in Appleton City Band, and a fellow traveler on my 2001 trip to Ireland. She was a dear friend with a big heart. I am sure that her family and friends will miss her very much.

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife, Dan. It is so hard to fight these cancers. My Dad has lung cancer. I wished I could be there for you but I recently had foot surgery and don't get around very well. I will say some extra prayers. God Bless, Lori
