To "Charlies Angels" and families: Please accept our deepest sympathies upon the passing of Uncle Gay. He was truly a unique and wonderful human being. I never knew him to say an unkind word about anyone, and he always was genuinely happy to see members of the family. The reunions at Grandma Beaty's were especially memorable in that regard. His delightful smile and obvious joy upon seeing members of the family just stands out in my mind. Some of my memories are of him taking me fishing and to the sponge fisherman shops in Clearwater, Florida. He also made me a bit anxious talking about coral and rattle snakes, scorpions, and alligators! I still get nervous when i go to Florida! In those days, one could collect conchs on the islands after storms. Uncle Gay took my Dad and me to a nearby island on his boat, and we collected many conchs, which were pretty exotic for a cheesehead from Wisconsin. Uncle Gay was a true role model for us all, and he will be sorely missed. Barry and Caryl Beaty

Dear Family of Charles and Bessy Beaty, All of us in the acticvity dept. would like to express our sorrow over the loss of your dear father, Charles. Even though we did not have the pleasure of knowing him, I suspect he must have filled your lives with good memories. We think about your mom, Bessy, still and miss her joy deeply. Joan Fluette (Wed. baking) has passed away a year ago in October. I like to think they are dancing in the street of glory together. With deep respect and regard, Jan Berkebill
