Masko, Margaret AnnMADISON/WATERTOWN - Margaret Ann Masko, age 61, of Watertown passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on Dec. 15, 1948 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Jerome Lawrence Masko and Mary Jean Williams. Margaret was retired and had worked for the State of Wisconsin. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, biking, walking, and time in the woods. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived to serve others and the Lord. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Ann (Rick) Syverud;son, Joshua Stephens-Masko;siblings, Jerry Masko, Bill (Mary) Masko, Cathy (Tim) Rottmann, Mark (Cyndee) Masko, Pam Keuper, Debbie (Mark) Brown, and David Masko;grandsons, Robert and Andrew;great-grandchildren, Dejah and Jeremiah;and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert, Richard and Thomas; and sister, Carol Jean. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. A special thank you to the staff at St. Mary\'s IMCU, and to HospiceCare, Fitchburg. Margaret died peacefully after three days at HospiceCare, with her daughter, her sister, Debbie, and brother, David right by her side as she took her last breath. Thank you Mom. We love you and will miss you so very much. We take comfort in knowing you are with your Heavenly Father where there is no more sorrow. Margie you were a wonderful sister and will be missed by your family and brothers & sisters. I know that Pam is taking tis very hard and believe that she will take over your place in holding everyone together. Sorry I wasn't there for you more but you were loved very much. I remember you very young with your white helmet and goggles; very pretty. The family will always be our prayers.
