Dyann McGuire

STOUGHTON- Dyann Z. McGuire, age 81, passed away on Dec, 17, 2009, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. Dyann was born on Oct. 7, 1928, in West Allis, to Charles and Margaret (OHara) Zalud. After graduating from high school, Dyann went on to become a registered nurse and married Francis D. "Mickey" McGuire on April 15, 1950. While raising her family, Dyann worked as the owner of Mount Prospect Vacations in Mount Prospect, Ill. and Orchard Travel in Lake Zurich, Ill. After retiring in 1980, Dyann worked as a volunteer at an area hospital until her grandchildren came along. Family was always very important to Dyann and she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Dyann is survived by three sons, Jeffrey (Dee) McGuire, Kevin (Amy) and Darrell McGuire; and seven grandchildren, Megan, Madeline, Kevin Jr., Bryan, Shannon, Daniel and Christopher. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her sister. A memorial service to celebrate Dyanns life will be held at SKAALEN HOME, 400 N. Morris, Stoughton, at 1:30 p.m.on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, in the chapel. A private burial of the cremains will take place at Jug Prairie Cemetery, Brooklyn.
