Obituary
Dolfen, AlbertMADISON- Albert Dolfen, age 89, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009. He was born on January 8, 1920, in Madison, the son of John and Anna (Maier) Dolfen. Albert attended Blessed Sacrament elementary school and graduated from Edgewood High School. He worked for Pabst Brewing Co. in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1973. Albert enjoyed the stockmarket, sports, and spending time with his family. He was a sweet, gentle man with an infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Albert is survived by his sister, Esther (John) Debs of Huntsville, Ala.; brother-in-law, Norvan Pollock of Sun Prairie; and 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Goodno; brother-in-law, Floyd Goodno; and sister, Virginia Ginny Pollock. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, with Father Lance Schneider presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the church. The family would like to thank the staff at the U.W. Neuro-ICU and palliative care, as well as Katie at the All Saints Retirement Center for all the care they gave Albert.\r\n
