Erma Drosopoulos

Drosopoulos, Erma B. MADISON-Erma B. (Borland) Drosopoulos, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at the Ellen and Peter Johnson Hospice Center. She was born on Dec. 30, 1929, in Madison, the daughter of Marion and Marjorie (Harper) Borland. Erma married Charlie Drosopolous on May 3, 1980, in Madison. She is survived by her children, Cindia (Doug) DuBois of Madison, Janet (Dan) Jesberger of Sun Prairie, Sandy (Al) Schumacher of Madison, and Jack Bjelde of Middleton; ten grandchildren, Dennis, Jennifer (Nick), Keith, Kara (Dan), Mark (Alexis), Erin, Katie, Alex, Ashley, and McKenzie; three step-grandchildren, Darcy, John, and Missy; great-grandchildren, Ethan, McKayla, and Mason, who will be born on Dec. 31, 2009; brothers, Jim Borland of Mesa, Ariz., Jerry Borland of Madison, and David (Carol) of Sun Prairie; and sisters, Joan Smith of Madison, and Beverly Koukl of Chicago, Ill. Erma was preceded in death by her soul mate and love of her life, Charlie Drosopoulos; her parents; and three sisters, Gene Pressnall, Mary Stam, and Jane Speranza. At Erma's request, there will be no visitation. Private inurnment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Any memorials will be given to HospiceCare Inc. in Erma's name. The family would like to thank the staff at HospiceCare Inc., especially Laurel, Roxanne, Bonnie and Lu, for their wonderful and compassionate care.
