Marie Eschler

Eschler, Marie Irene MARSHALL-Marie Irene Eschler, age 81, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009. She was born on Dec. 19, 1928, in Madison, the daughter of Albert and Alma (Kaczor) Richards. Marie graduated from Madison East High School in 1945. She worked at the telephone company until she married Duane Natvig in 1948. They had three children. Marie married Frank Eschler on July 7, 1977. He preceded her in death in 2000. Marie retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where she worked for 25 years. She and Frank moved to Marshall in 1979, where she had many close friends and nice neighbors. Marie is survived by children, Sandra M. (Natvig) and Ken Smith of Madison, David D. Natvig of Madison and Dale W. Natvig of Black River Falls; five grandchildren, Lisa (Smith) and Bob Haefner, Carisa Natvig, Dawn (Natvig) Orshak, Suzette Natvig and Keeley Natvig; and two great-grandchildren, Nadia Orshak and Kaleb Haefner. A memorial service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009. Visitation will be at the chapel from noon until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
