Lynn Gonzalez

MADISON- Lynn M. Gonzalez, age 51, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, peacefully in her sleep. She was born on May 10, 1958, in Madison, the daughter of Harry and Kay Chamberlain. Lynn graduated from LaFollette High School, in 1976, before attending Mount Mary College in Milwaukee where she earned two bachelors degrees in Psychology and the other in Art Therapy. She married John Gonzalez on April 4, 1983, at the Chapel by the Sea in New London, Conn. Lynn met John in Milwaukee while celebrating Tammys 19th birthday. She became the love of Johns life and they will be forever soul mates. Lynn was a wonderful wife and mother, not only to her own children but to anyone and everyone that needed her. She is survived by her husband, John Gonzalez of Madison; daughter, Christine (Gary Thomas) Gonzalez; son, Alex Gonzalez; her cherished grandson, John Luke Thomas; father, Harry Chamberlain; brother, Ron (Kim) Chamberlain; sister, Sandy (Dave) Sweeney; her much loved nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Juan (Doris) Gonzalez; sister-in-law, Marie (Bill) Stackhouse; brother-in-law, Joseph Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Julie Yarish; and many family members and friends who all loved her. Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Chamberlain and brother-in-law, Luke Gonzalez. Vigil services will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 with Father Kent Schmitt presiding.
