Warren, Robert HermanMADISON - Robert Herman Warren, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009. He was born in Reedsburg, on Aug. 7, 1920, the son of Harry and Julia (Lucht) Warren. Robert married Betty Jean Kramer in 1941. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, in the Pacific Theater. Robert worked alongside his brother Dean, at Warren Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning for many years. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 7591. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved to follow sports and enjoyed gambling. Robert is survived by his children, Judy (Art) Cresson of Verona, Bill (Patty) Warren of Arizona, Robert Warren of Madison, and Bonnie Warren of Colorado; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Morrison of California, Dean (Ruth) Warren of Windsor, Dorothy Stormer of Madison, Beverly Manner of Oregon, Lois Liddicoat of Cambridge, and Phyllis Day of Waunakee. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Gibson; and wife, Betty Jean Warren. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, with military rites being conducted. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
